Hello, my name is Lewis Tillett and for my A-level coursework I am making a music video, using lip syncing, to a pre-existing song.
For my music video I have chose to do the song “Teddy picker” by the arctic Monkeys. I have chosen this song mainly because it is one of my favourite songs, and I feel it is best to have chosen a song which I enjoy, as I’m going to be working with it for months to come. I feel it has a proportionate mix of singing and instrumental, which in my music video would mean I would have a balance of narrative and lip sincing.
This music is an example of alternative/indie, which is upbeat and makes you feel good.
I originally had trouble choosing which song I was going to use, for my music video, I was originally going to use Coldplay's "Paradise", but was slightly put off by the length of the song, of almost 5 minutes.
