digipak moodboard

This digipak shows how the theme should be
consistent throughout the digipak, to go with
the feel that the albums trying to portray. I
will do this in my final digipak by using
pictures of me performing and holding the
guitar, not pictures that juxtapose with
each other
This digipak shows me how the design of a digipak
can be fairly simple, with pictures of the
night sky and titles on a black background
simple, yet so effective at the same time, I will
bear this in mind when creating my digipak, as well as
taking into account the contrasting colours which
make the text and the pictures stand out.
I like how the same image of the artiste
continues over 3 separate pages of the
digipak, this stands outto the customer
when you open it, and almost gives
the impression that the artiste is so iconic
that they require 3 pages rather than one,
I would like to include this sort of effect
in my final digipak, maybe with a
 sunset panorama as background.

This digipak shows how creative you can get
with even the cd of the digipak, as when this
starts to spin, it makes an affect like a hypnotic
spiral. This has inspired me to give the design of
my CD more thought than i would have previously

The different colours used in the faces of this
band give the digipak a more aesthetically
pleasing look, compared to if they had just
been the same colour, and differentiates them
from each other.
Once again, the creativity of turning the cd of
the digipak into something like a face, gives the
digipak another layer of personality, and almost
gives off a lighthearted, friendly feel to the
consumer. This has inspired me to make the cd
of my digipak into as face, to reflect the carefree,
not taking yourself too seriously nature, which
the indie genre values.
